Yes, that’s what most of our customer prefer to do. Our storage units are delivered to you in a customer built trailer that includes a loading trolley and ramp to make it easier to load large furniture items. Always try to load the biggest items first, then pack the smaller items around them. Use plenty of good packing materials including extra strong boxes and bubble-wrap, particularly when packing fragile items.
We can leave your self-storage unit with you for up to 24 hours or we can collect it again later on the same day. We can also arrange delivery and collections for evenings or weekends so you don’t have to take time off work. Talk to us about your specific requirements.
Yes! We operate a triple lock system:
- You lock the mobile storage unit with your own key so only you have access
- The trailer doors are locked and secured separately
- The trailer tow hitch is locked to ensure that only Go Box staff can tow your goods.
Our storage centre is less than 0.5 miles from Belfast City Centre, at the junction of the Antrim Road and Cliftonville Road. You can find us on Google Maps.
Yes – you lock the self-storage unit with your own key, and only you have access. The Go Box premises are within a self-contained gated compound with high perimeter fencing. Your storage items are stored indoors at all times and are further protected by modern Grade 4 security systems including: remote CCTV monitoring and a BT Redcare Alarm system monitoring.
Yes, your goods are protected with industry leading insurers for Goods In Transit whilst we transport your storage unit to and from our storage centre. Furthermore, because only you know the true value of what goes into your storage unit, we can tailor your storage insurance to meet your needs.

Each mobile self-storage unit has a volume capacity of 250 cubic feet and 1400kgs in weight. It will hold he contents of an average 1-2 bedroom flat and has approximately the same capacity as a large transit van. – Call us and we can discuss your specific needs.
There are some items that you cannot store in your storage unit but if you’re unsure give us a call:

Yes – if you need another storage unit just contact us and we’ll drop one off for you. You also get discounted rates on any additional delivery & return charges.
The most popular time slots are
- 8.00 to 9.00am Monday to Friday
- 1.00 to 2.00pm Monday to Friday
- 5.00 to 6.00pm Monday to Friday
- 9.00 to 10.00am Saturday
but you don’t need to be at home. We can drop of the storage unit and send you the secure lock combination. We can also delivery or collect the storage unit in the evening or during the weekend.
The storage unit is delivered in the trailer and is about the size of a large panel van. We can park on a driveway, in a resident’s bay, in a loading bay. We can also park on the kerbside near your premises. Please ensure your reserve a space as conveniently close to your nearest access point as possible.
Yes you can deliver directly into your own storage unit at our loading bay area. This is a free service.
